Tummy Time

Today Miley gave me a pleasant surprise early morning. It was tummy time again where she usually sprawls on the bed squirming and screaming in frustration.

Amazingly as I flip her over, she used her elbows to support herself & Viola! she lifted her head n stayed there! I think she was as surprised as me coz she even managed to turn her head n look around. For the 1st time, she was smiling away during tummy time. :)

Loves Mummy Talk

Miley is starting to be able to focus on objects and faces. She’s attracted to colorful things and will smile or giggle when she sees one. She’s also reading our lips as we speak and will try to form the same shape and emulating the sound she hears. This week we almost heard her say “Gong Xi” and “Hello”, and she loves mummy talking and reading to her. ;)

First Chinese New Year

Miley celebrated her first CNY this year! Visited two great grannies and lots of relatives and friends. On the second day, her little friends Xavier and Phoebe came to visit, and in the evening we went for steamboat and ‘loh hei’ with the Rarerich! Celebration will continue this weekend and not forgetting lots of Ang Pows! 恭喜恭喜！
